Well he finally arrived!

7lbs. 13 oz., 21 inches long
It is so exciting to finally meet our little boy! Mindy did an amazing job and nothing can touch what she had to go through. I think she might be one of the toughest people I have ever met.
Mindy started labor around 7:30 Monday morning when her water broke at home. I was almost to school when I got the phone call and quickly turned around to pick her up. The little guy was due last Wednesday, but didn't want to come out. It was good, because Mindy started running a fever Saturday. We spent the majority of the evening in the hospital making sure he and Mindy were alright. Sunday we tried to catch up on sleep, which was good for the next days activities.
Jensen did have a stool while still inside his mom and this caused some concern. Monday was a long hard day for Mindy (17 hours in labor, the last 3 hours spent pushing). She, again, is amazing. He is doing good, but there is still some concern about his lungs (we will keep you posted about this). Thanks for all your positive thoughts and prayers! Mindy and Matt
