Good news! Jensen's discharge time is being pushed up. We initially thought that we wouldn't leave until Tuesday, but with how much progress he has made they are changing it to Monday night. His breathing is doing much better and they are speeding up the antibiotics to get him home quicker (I know what you are thinking and I asked the same question...they are not rushing things at his expense...this is normal for them to do).
He is eating like a champ and continues to do so at all times of the day. We have both enjoyed feeding him...the changing of diapers seems just like a necessary evil. Mindy gave him his second bath yesterday with out any problems. She is doing great, but I think labor is catching up with her with a few more aches and pains. It is a pleasure to dote on both of them!
Congratulations, Matt and Mindy, on your precious Jensen! He is gorgeous and looks so sweet! We can't wait to meet him and see you all again. Thanks for all the updates on your blog. We are sorry you got thrown into this kind of "parenting mode" sooner than most new parents have to with Jensen having the lung infection. It's so hard when your children are sick, let alone when they are brand new. We will continue to keep him and you both in our prayers and hope you are all home soon. Love and blessings,
