It looks like Jensen does have about seven more days in the NICU. Last night at about 2 in the morning we decided to check up on our little one. He was a little fussy (which is hardly anything), so we fed him and changed his diaper (which was NOT hardly anything). Toward the end of our visit the nurse had a few concerns about how he was doing and she decided to put him on oxygen. We finally got back to bed around 4 or 5.
We had the chance to talk to the NICU doctor and ask questions. He was very optimistic about us getting to take him home in about seven days. More than likely he has an infection in one of his lungs. Antibiotics and oxygen are still the best treatment.
