Cautiously Optimistic

It is a roller coaster! We were down in the dumps last night, because the had to put Jensen back on oxygen. It wasn't a high level, but enough to help him out. We were sure that would push back his discharge date.

This morning he is back off of his oxygen. We thought is was positive, but Jensen might disagree, that he was circumcised at about 10 this morning. They will base his discharge on some blood work that they plan on running tomorrow morning between 4 and 6. We definitely want him top notch before coming home. It would be bad to have to bring him back after getting him home. Keep those thoughts and prayers coming his way!

God Bless...
Mindy and Matt

  1. Just want to let you guys know you are in our thoughts. Jensen is a handsome lad (I must confess, the voice in my head proudly pronounces Jensen's name with appropriate Scandinavian pronunciation, ja sure!) and our prayer is that you can be home together as a family really soon! Take of yourselves!!

  4. Hey guys. Just dropping a note to let you know we are all thinking of you and Jensen is in our thoughts and prayers. I know it seems like a roller coaster of emotions but he is in good hands. With God all things are possible.

  6. Mindy and Matt,

All us of at Kirkwood are watching the blog cheering little Jensen on. He looks just fabulous and I must say mom is looking spectacular as well. (Matt, you too but since you didn't just deliver didn't think to mention it.)

Take care and enjoy your homecoming when the time is right.
