Routine? What routine?

So...we are trying to get a little bit of a routine down...trying. It is great to have Jensen home and even at 3 in the morning we still enjoy having him here and not at the hospital. The dogs have done a great job getting used to him. Sheldon seems to be miserable when Jensen starts to cry and usually heads the other direction to try and rest/lay down. Chloe is much more curious and wants to be very close to him, keeping an eye on him the entire time. I think both dogs are exhausted and are wondering why this new kid has so rudely interrupted their usual sleeping schedule and naps.

Two babies wanting attention!

Mindy and I have been taking turns changing and feeding Jensen, letting each catch up on sleep. I was lucky to get a good chunk of time off of work to stay home and help everyone adjust. I took the dogs on a trek around the neighborhood for about an hour today while a visiting nurse came to visit the house. The nurse said that Jensen was doing great and his squeaks while feeding are his enthusiasm for eating (must take after his dad...I don't squeak will eating though...at least not always). This enthusiasm has led to him gaining a bit of weight. He was born at 7lbs. 13oz. and now weighs 8lbs. 3oz. We are not sure how much longer he will fit into his newborn clothes!

Hanging out with Dad.

Take care!
Mindy, Matt & Jensen
