the meat eater

After following all of the books and parenting articles that suggest you should introduce veggies and fruits, and getting more and more frustrated that we couldn't find a "new food" that Jensen wouldn't crinkle his nose at, it finally happened. He smiled after he tried the "2nd foods" Gerber offers--we have found a happy boy each time he gets to enjoy Chicken/Gravy, Turkey/Gravy, and Beef/Gravy. He is delighted. Tonight, he had the whole serving of Beef/Gravy---I gave him a few bites of green beans afterwards--he crinkled his nose and gagged a little at that--but he took three bites which is HUGE progress when we're talking about a veggie! Way to go Jensen!

  1. you may want to also try the "natures choice" brand at walmart, they have chicken/apples, turkey/sweet potatoes. Henry LOVED those and it was a way to get a meat and veggie/fruit in too. Henry didn't like a lot of baby foods but really liked those two. Good luck! He will soon be eating big people food and thats a whole new adventure! :)
